The process
From first conversation to handover.
One founder supports your project from the first conversation to launch. Below is a typical 4–6 weeks schedule; we adapt the final plan to the scope and content.
Accelerated delivery takes 2 weeks, with a 30% surcharge. We agree the feasible scope, required content and approval dates in advance.
Week 1
Discovery and structure
Free consultation, goals, audience and competitors. A sitemap and content outline: what the site should say, to whom and in what order.
Weeks 2–3
Design and development
With standard design, we start building straight away. For bespoke design, we agree the visuals before coding. You get a live preview at each stage.
Week 4
Content and testing
Text and images in place, speed and mobile testing, and form delivery checks. If you've included CMS or measurement (GA4 + Search Console), we connect them and walk you through them at this stage.
Weeks 5–6
Refinement and launch
A final round of changes based on your feedback, followed by launch on your domain. Handover includes access and guidance.

How much does web design cost?
Prometheus Core is available on its own for HUF 249,000 + VAT if it meets your needs. We add pages, Sanity CMS or other features only as required. The calculator shows an estimate; your proposal confirms the final scope and price. Packages are examples you can freely adapt.
How long does a website take?
A business website typically takes 4–6 weeks. Accelerated delivery takes 2 weeks, with a 30% surcharge. Complex projects may differ; the proposal defines the deadline, content required and approval process.
Do you also build online shops?
Yes. Webshop Lite costs HUF 350,000; Pro starts at HUF 650,000 + VAT. A complete shop also needs Core and Sanity CMS. We determine Lite / Pro based on total workload. Registration or customer accounts always require Pro. Payment gateway and invoicing integration are included in the module; provider usage fees are separate.
Do you only build websites in Budapest?
We're based in Budapest but work across Hungary and internationally. The entire process can run online. In Budapest, in-person consultations are also available.
Why custom development instead of a template?
We tailor every site's content and structure to the business. Core includes standard design; separate UI/UX design is appropriate when the task calls for it. We check performance and mobile behaviour, but a score alone doesn't guarantee Google rankings or enquiries. For existing sites, we first consider whether improvements would be enough.
Will the website be SEO-ready?
Core includes technical SEO basics: clear headings, metadata, a sitemap and relevant structured data. For research-led strategy, we recommend SEO Foundation, our required first step before monthly SEO. Blogging follows its research and strategy. Foundation can stand alone; we only recommend ongoing work when justified. GA4 and Search Console setup are included in Technical SEO Sprint and Foundation; with standalone Core, they're separate modules.
Who creates the text and images?
We plan the content together and normally use your text and images. If you need copywriting, image sourcing or translation, we agree the work and fee in advance. Content delivery dates form part of the project schedule.
How many revisions are included, and what do I get at handover?
The proposal defines approval stages and revision scope. New pages or features are quoted separately with their timing. At handover, you receive the required access and a walkthrough, including content editing if you've chosen CMS. Maintenance and further development are agreed separately.
